Had the absolute best night! Vanessa was the best waitress ever, made our night fantastic! The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding. Could not ask for more!
If you're looking for the best sushi in Palm Beach, Imoto is it. I've dined here a few times, and it never disappoints. The intimate setting, top-notch quality, and creative menu make it an absolute must-visit. Drinks The cocktail and sake selection is fantastic. My go-to drinks are the Forbidden Snow Lychee Sake, which is lightly sweet and refreshing with a touch of Prosecco, and the Sake-Tini, a perfectly balanced mix of vodka, sake, and cucumber. Appetizers & Small Plates The rock shrimp tempura is a must--crispy, perfectly fried, and served with a flavorful dipping sauce on the side. The Peking duck tacos are another favorite, packed with rich duck flavor and a great balance of textures. If you're a fan of rice dishes, the char siu pork belly fried rice is an absolute winner, with perfectly cooked rice and tender, flavorful pork belly. For sashimi, both the Hamachi crudo and Japanese snapper crudo are insanely good--fresh, buttery, and beautifully prepared. The Japanese snapper crudo stands out with the pistachios, which add a nice crunch to every bite, balancing the delicate fish beautifully. Rolls & Wood-Fired Dishes I've tried several of their rolls, and you really can't go wrong. Some standouts include: * Naruto Maki Roll (wrapped in cucumber for a lighter, refreshing bite) * Super Salmon Roll (packed with fresh salmon, a salmon lover's dream) * Spicy Seared Yellowtail Roll (great balance of spice and smokiness) * Dancing Eel Roll (rich, flavorful, and so satisfying) If you're craving something from the wood-fired grill, the galbi-marinated Wagyu beef is an absolute must--tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Reservations & Parking Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak dinner hours. The restaurant is cozy, so tables fill up quickly. I've seen some people manage to grab seats at the bar for walk-ins, but if you want a guaranteed table, it's best to book in advance. Parking is convenient--there's valet parking, or you can find street parking nearby and take a short walk. Another great perk is that Imoto is connected to Buccan, so if you're in the mood, you can even mix and match from both menus. Pricing * Small plates & appetizers: $15-$30 * Rolls & sashimi: $18-$35 * Wood-fired dishes: $19-$23 The quality justifies the price, and I always leave feeling like it was well worth it. I love love love this place--best sushi in Palm Beach, hands down. If you're in the area, don't skip Imoto!
Great atmosphere with unbelievable food. Serious the Australian wagyu can never go wrong. Along with the duck tacos. Top 2 best dishes with the pork fried rice right behind. The drinks were okay but nothing to rave about. We had a lychee martini (good) and the matcha latte cocktail (not our fave) Valet parking in front of the restaurant makes it convenient to not worry about palm beach parking. The service is fantastic, very on top of it our server was kind and helpful always refilling drinks and moving plates. Highly recommend!
If your ever in the Palm Beach area and are looking for some quality Nigiri Imoto is the place for you! Between the ambiance and the quality of the fish you really can't go wrong! Not to mention you can also order off the Buccan menu! Service was great, waters were constantly being refilled and empty plates taken quickly. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you get the chance!
Came here last night with friends and the food was fantastic! The edamame with soy and scallions was so delicious that I'd come back for that alone! We also had the pork belly fried rice, the short rib empanadas and the spicy pork tacos. I'd recommend everything we ordered and I can't wait to come back!
Sunday evening was the third time I had dinner at Imoto. Just Wow! This place is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Florida. This is for three particular reasons. The food , the ambience & to top it all off the bartender Carly. I met Carly the first time I went to Imoto. Her attentiveness , knowledge and kindness is top notch. Always a smile on her face and full of energy. When you go to Imoto make sure you meet this extraordinary amazing bartender/human Carly. See you all next week.
Quaint little restaurant next to its big sister Buccan. The food was solid. We had the lobster pot stickers, crispy rice Hamachi, galbi wagyu beef, Pork belly, fried rice ,seared main diver scallops. Seared king salmon nigiri, seared scallop nigiri, bluefin Toro Nigiri, Super salmon rolls, and another one with tuna. Wine selection by the bottle was excellent but I tried the SoFloTokyo cocktail because it was different (pistachio). Maybe too different for my liking. Ambience was ok- Tables are a bit close to each other. Service was attentive.
My favorite restaurant in the Palm Beach area! First stopped into Imoto a couple months ago, and have found myself going once a week, ever since! The restaurant is dimly lit, and always has a cool/fun music list playing (always a "vibe"). Completely different ambiance than its neighbor, Buccan, on purpose. Easy to park, because they offer complimentary valet. The sushi here is FRESH, the flavors are unique, and the service is 10/10. Carly is usually our bartender (we eat dinner at the bar just to have her) and she's phenomenal. She has radiant energy and always makes our date nights fun!! On top of her great personality, she'll put a twist on any drink you want (makes exquisite drinks). Sammy and Ashley are also excellent bartenders with fun personalities. Over the past few weeks, we have tried the Peking duck tacos, lobster potstickers, hamachi sashimi, tuna tartare, hamachi crispy rice, Galbi marinated Australian wagyu beef, special nigiri (yellowtail, tuna, Japanese snapper, uni, bluefin toro, seared yellowtail, seared king salmon), and classic nigiri (yellowtail, bluefin toro). My absolute favorite items on the menu are the lobster dumplings, crispy rice hamachi, and the special nigiri- however EVERYTHING is great! For dessert, you can't leave without ordering the chocolate chip cookies with Malton sea salt (with the addition of an ice cream scoop and/or glass of milk). The cookies are sprinkled with large chunks of sea salt, and come out of the oven warm and gooey. All the plates are small, but relatively good sizes (more food than expected on each). Definitely a pricey restaurant (although fair), but I think this is the only restaurant on the Island that is worth the price, and the hype. Will continue to return here weekly! Note: you can order off the Buccan menu, while dining at Imoto!
Fantastic restaurant to try! I had been to Buccan before and then later learned about Imoto. Both are amazing restaurants! I particularly enjoy the fact that they have complimentary valet, specially considering the parking limitations around the area. Upon entering the restaurant, I just live the look and feel of the place. The dim lighting and limited seating allow for a really intimate experience, yet not too stuffy, and with great lounge music at just the right volume so you hear it but it doesn't compete with listening to your companion. The entire staff was perfectly attentive, allowing us to chat, but checking in regularly still to ensure we had anything we needed. The menu options are well varied, and you have some great options to choose from, with flavors that really challenge what you expect to taste on the dish. I was completely surprised and perplexed at how carefully structured the dishes were, and completely taken by surprise with the savoriness of some of the items I ordered where I expected completely different flavors on my palate. The fish was extremely fresh, and perfectly balanced across the different variations that we had. Really epic experience!
